As with many public buildings of this age the Bacup Royal Court Theatre is reported to have its own resident ghost who the theatre staff have named "Norah". On numerous occasions Cast Members, Staff, Stage Crew and Visitors have reported seeing Norah and also experiencing various strange unexplainable happenings (none of which have been harmful). There has been several teams of Paranormal Investigators who have spent the night in the theatre and all of them have reported really exciting investigations and many strong spiritual presences.

There are several recently taken photos which claim to offer conclusive proof of the existence of "Norah"! These photos are in "RAW" format to show that they have not been "tampered with" or enhanced in any way. They have never been made available to the general public until now, however, the photographer responsible for taking them is willing to allow them to be seen and scrutinized by Paranormal Investigators who visit the theatre (subject to certain conditions).

The Paranormal Activity Research Team of Lancashire were asked to conduct a Full Paranormal Investigation of the theatre.
